I Still Love You, Listner

Sorry, where were we?

Oh! Episodes 19, 20, and 21 have all come out, as well as a few treats in between. Let’s look at them now, shall we? These YouTube videos ought to do the trick in catching us up.

First up, our language consultant Anri Hata watched 1966’s The Giant Serpent with us:

She came back the next week to talk with us about Booska and Ultraman in our Tokusatsu TV Special!

Then, Parker and Q came back to continue their strange and twisted journey into the Wild World of Gamera.

After that, I resolved our biggest cliffhanger yet, and pulled the winning names for the Gargantuan Gamera Giveaway! I also did an unscripted Quick Look at the Daimajin Trilogy on the same episode, so it’s like two for the price of one!

A few more episodes were published between then and now, but I’ll let this post breath and get y’all caught up on how we wrapped up season one, how we’re spending our hiatus, and what’s going to be happening in season two!

Monster Zero? More Like Monster Ze- Wait. Hold on. This whole thing just fell apart.

I was trying to do a thing with like, zero and hero rhyming and it just didn’t work. Anyway, this week we were joined by writer, host, and producer of the Rondo Award winning Monster Kid Radio, Derek M. Koch! This is his second time on our show and we had a good time:

  5. S2E21: Terror of Mechagodzilla with Nathan Marchand and Jimmy From NASA

And if video tickles your fancy, then we’ve got you covered over on our YouTube Channel.

It’s Monster-riffic!

Can’t get enough of me and Derek talking to each other? Well you are in luck, friend. Because this week I was also on his show, talking about Legendary and Warner Brothers’ Monsterverse films! Find it here!

It’s also available on YouTube as well too, he said redundantly:

It’s Monster-tastic!

Next week we have another Record All Monsters Special where we go back over some memories past guests have shared about encountering Godzilla and Co. on VHS:

It’s Monster-good!

See y’all then! And, yes, that is the proper way to spell “y’all”, which is a valid contraction of “you” and “all”.

Gamera and the Gargantuan Gamera Giveaway!

Okay, so I missed another week. What are you gonna do about it? Hopefully listen to ;ast week’s episode about the original Gamera movie!

Presented in GLORIOUS COLOR!

Once you’ve done that, listen to this week’s episode on the Gargantuan Gamera Giveaway! All the details are contained within the episode itself:

It’s on YouTube as well:

That’s the option you wanna take if you wanna see mine and Courtney’s faces.

By the way, this is the T-shirt you can win, by the way:

Listen to the episode to find out how to enter and also maybe WIN! See you next week when we talk with Monster Kid Radio’s own Derek M. Koch about Monster Zero, AKA, Invasion of Astro Monster, and check us out on his show the day before, where we go over the films of Legendary and Warner Bros. Monsterverse!

Seven, Seven, SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN!

First of all, here’s one reason how come all the sevens:

SEVEN!

The other reason for the sevens is that we’ve just released our seventh Monster Mailbag, which is the last one for season one. Listen below:

Frankenstein, Supreme Ruler and Conqueror of the World Since 1965

As anyone born AFTER 1965 knows, Frankenstein Conquered the World back then, and we have all grown up under his benevolent rule since then. Friend of the show and frequent guest Nathanael Ross Smith returns again to talk about this film and finally has a worthy challenge in our game show, Frankenstein or FRAUDenstein? Listen below.

And, it is also, of course, on YouTube:

Baragon is very cute.

And just so you know, next week’s Monster Mailbag will be this season’s last one, as illustrated in this graphic:

“Observe these Pirates bold and gay,
that sail a gory sea
notice their bright expression: —
the handsome one is me.” -GK Chesterton

I’m Sorry, But It’s Honestly a Miracle I’ve Updated This Page Consistently for So Long

I missed a few weeks of updates, so here’s a great big one. First up! Our conversation with John LeMay on the movie Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster! Here’s the YouTube version and a custom lobby card:

Look with your eyes, listen with your ears.
Print it if you like it, I don’t care.

And most recently, recurring guest Nathanael Ross Smith and I sat down to talk about Frankenstein, which, as he’s said, is a regular occurrence that we just happened to record this time. Listen below!

Do you like this title card?
Here it is, but square.

In addition to all of that, we’re now available to listen to on twenty-ish platforms! Find the full list here.

We’ve also been approved for a Teepublic affiliate partnership, so our store is very good and official now. We have a few new designs, which you can find here!

That’s all for now, next week, NAthanael joins us again to talk about Frankenstein Conquers the World, a movie which fails to live up to it’s title but is still pretty good.
